17 inches of snow

We got hammered!!!!! 17 inches of snow! I love snow so it doesn't bother me and here the city does not shut down because they are so great at clearing the roads. Even the side roads are cleared. Below are some beautiful pictures from this latest storm to hit us. I have lost track of the amount of snow storms we have had. I must say that if it is going to be this wicked cold then snow makes it worth it.

A salt truck/snow plow. They do wonders for us.
Oh how we love these guys. though good luck getting your car out!
The snow was so deep Faith couldn't even walk she had to hop like rabbit.

WAY too long since I posted!

It has been way too long since I posted. I have been so crazy busy I have hardly been checking my email. Things should begin to slow down a bit now and I will try to catch you up on a lot of miscellaneous stuff in this email.

Mom visits:
My mom came for a little over a week during Christmas. She alternated staying at Sean and Sarah's as well as my place.

Me and the girls! The little one has held onto the brown hair like her mom.

Enjoying some baby holding time!

Grandma with everyone except my nephew. He would join the picture so his friend stood in for him.

While she was here she got the privilege of a foot of snow on her first weekend here. She loved it!

Faith loves to play in the snow. This year has been a good year for her. This is her after making a doggie angel.

Another creation of Moms...She made my nephew a star wars stain glassed window. Wow...it is good!

Star Wars Stain Glass window...hand made by mom!

Boys will be boys...but she seems a bit scared of where that sword might go!

Such a sweet picture...He loved his gift. He had been asking her to make one for him for quite some time.

New Years party:
Since I have not been so consumed with nursing school this year, I have had the opportunity to make great friendships with a number of people in my church. There is a large group in our 30-40's who enjoy spending lots of time together. For New Years a bunch of us from church got together to ring in the new year. I learned how to Salsa dance which was a lot of fun. Our church is very mixed but has a lot of Puerto Rican's and Italians which makes for a lively group.

Nursing Exams:
I have finished all of my nursing exams. Now I am in the process of attempting to schedule my 2 1/2 day clinical exam somewhere. They say the wait is 3-6 months. I am praying for a shorter wait. In the mean time I am finished apart from this. So this is such a relief.
